In the first quarter of 2021, five leading consumer finance applications exhibited varying trends in user engagement and financial metrics across the United States. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these apps.

Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets experienced a decline in downloads from 175K in the last week of December to 76K by the end of March. Weekly active users decreased from 765K to 678K in the same period. However, revenue showed a more fluctuating trend, starting at $120K and dipping to $76K by the quarter's end.

EveryDollar: Personal Budget also saw a decrease in downloads, from 39K at the beginning of the period to 18K. The app's weekly active users declined from 469K to 371K, while revenue peaked at $142K in mid-January before settling at around $79K in the last week of March.

YNAB started the quarter with downloads at 24K and ended with a slight drop to 6K. Weekly active users for YNAB decreased from 90K to 72K, and revenue observed a mid-quarter spike to $74K but finished at a lower $45K.

For BabySteps: Hit Financial Goals, downloads began at 2.6K and showed a downward trend to 1.1K by March's end. The app's revenue saw fluctuations, with a peak at $17K in mid-January and ending the quarter at nearly $15K.

Lastly, Hiatus: Bill and Money Manager experienced a decrease in downloads from 4K to 583 and a significant drop in weekly active users from 6.3K to 1.9K. Revenue for Hiatus started at $16K and ended at $7.2K, showing a consistent decline throughout the quarter.
